Chlor-alkali, also known as the chlor alkali industry, refers to the method of producing chlorine gas, hydrogen gas, and caustic soda using saturated salt water. The chlor alkali industry uses the method of electrolyzing saturated NaCl solution to produce NaOH, Cl2, and H2 in industry, and uses them as raw materials to produce a series of chemical products. Produced products: 1.32% sodium hydroxide, 2.50% sodium hydroxide, 3. Solid sodium hydroxide (flake alkali), 4. High purity hydrochloric acid, 5. Industrial hydrochloric acid, 6. Sodium hypochlorite, 7. Chlorine gas, liquid chlorine (liquid chlorine gas), 8. PVC (polyvinyl chloride resin, which is generally accompanied by PVC resin in the chlor alkali industry), 9. Hydrogen gas. The chlor alkali industry is one of the basic chemical industries, and its products are not only used in the chemical industry itself, but also widely used in light industry, textile industry, metallurgical industry, petrochemical industry, and public utilities.
